President Ali expressed that the joy and pride brought to the fans is immeasurable.
“As president, I speak on behalf of all your fans and, by extension, all Guyanese. We are proud of you all,” he stated in his congratulatory message to the Amazon Warriors. He acknowledged the physical pain many players endured, but with heart, passion, and love for the fans, they “went beyond the boundaries of your bodies.”
He added, “I can assure you that all your fans celebrate each of you. Congratulations on behalf of all the people of Guyana.”
