Another player from the Kansas City Chiefs is facing legal trouble
Another Kansas City Chiefs player is entangled in legal issues related to animal cruelty allegations.
Isaiah Buggs, a former standout offensive lineman at Alabama, is facing animal cruelty charges in Tuscaloosa, reports Ryan Phillips of Tuscaloosa Patch. Authorities discovered a pit bull and a Rottweiler mix caged in a home without access to food or water. The dogs were described as “malnourished, emaciated, and neglected” and were seized on March 28.
The home where the dogs were found appeared abandoned, and according to a neighbor, the dogs had been there for at least ten days. Buggs was identified as the renter of the property.
Buggs has denied the allegations, with his agent claiming that the city of Tuscaloosa is trying to damage Buggs’ reputation over a business dispute.

A sixth-round pick in 2019, Buggs joined the Chiefs’ practice squad in January and signed a reserve/future contract with the team in February.
This incident adds to the Chiefs’ offseason troubles, following wide receiver Rashee Rice’s significant legal issues stemming from a car crash in Dallas in late March.
