Modern champions Guyana Amazon Warriors have five named in CPL Group of the Competition

The Republic Bank Caribbean Head Association (CPL) Group of the Competition has been declared. The group has been chosen by the TV commentary board; Ian Religious administrator, Daren Ganga, Samuel Badree, Carlos Brathwaite, Danny Morrison and Nikhil Uttamchandani.

The group incorporates five individuals of the Guyana Amazon Warriors who won their to begin with title on Sunday with a nine-wicket win over the Trinbago Knight Riders at Provision.

The five Amazon Warriors are Captain Imran Tahir, batsmen Shai Trust and Saim Ayub and all rounders Dwayne Pretorius and Romario Shepherd.

Tahir was instrumental in driving the Amazon Warriors to their lady CPL title with 18 wickets in 13 matches, as it were wrapping up behind colleague Pretorius’ 20 wickets on the driving wicket-taker chart.
