Ullmark, the 2022-23 Vezina Trophy winner, is an excellent goaltender. Despite his skills, the Bruins are committed to Jeremy Swayman, who is also elite and younger. Although it’s unfortunate, it’s the right decision for the Bruins.
If Ullmark joined the Flyers, he would become their clear number-one goaltender, eliminating a significant concern for the team.
