Breaking News: UNC Basketball secure the signature of one of the premier players from the Class of 2025.

Cameron and Cayden Boozer, twin sons of former Duke star Carlos Boozer, are standout talents in the Class of 2025.

Despite their father Carlos Boozer’s deep ties to Duke as a two-time NBA All-Star, both brothers are being heavily recruited by North Carolina. In May 2023, they each received offers to join the UNC basketball program.

While both brothers rank among the nation’s top prospects, Cameron has distinguished himself further, earning the No. 2 spot overall in the Class of 2025. In a recent interview with Sam Lance of ZagsBlog, Cameron praised North Carolina and Head Coach Hubert Davis.

Is the UNC basketball program still a top contender for this Kentucky  transfer?

UNC: “It’s how hard they play, how great their defense is. Another school that’s one of the most winningest schools in college. Things like that. [Hubert Davis] is a great guy. He really gets his players to get after it, compete every night. That’s what made them so good this year. So that’s probably the main thing.”

Boozer named the Tar Heels as one of the six schools recruiting him the hardest, along with Miami, Michigan, Arkansas, Florida, and his father’s alma mater, Duke.

Neither brother has committed to a college yet, leaving open the possibility that Cameron and Cayden might attend the same university.

The UNC basketball program hopes this duo will choose Chapel Hill, adding an exciting twist to the historic rivalry between Duke and North Carolina.
